DSS Arrests Gunrunner with 850 Live Rounds in Cross River
Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested Kelvin Ebikeniye Dugo for transporting 850 rounds of live ammunition. The arrest took place at Ivara Esu Estate in Odukpani Local Government Area after he received the concealed consignment. Investigations show the bullets were supplied by another suspected gunrunner, Azenda Barnabas (aka Jagaban) of Aliade, Benue State. Two empty AK-47 magazines were also recovered during the operation. The DSS says this arrest is part of its sustained nationwide effort to dismantle arms-trafficking networks and curb the spread of illegal weapons.
