NNPCL Raises Petrol Price to ₦1,345 Per Litre in Abuja

NNPCL has increased the pump price of petrol from ₦1,270 to ₦1,345 per litre at several outlets in Abuja. The ₦75 increase was recorded at stations along the Kurudu-Jikwoyi Expressway and other parts of the FCT. Independent marketers are also selling at higher but varying rates. Petrol was priced at ₦1,345 per litre at an outlet in Idu, while some stations in Kubwa and other areas sold it for about ₦1,320. The increase follows Dangote Refinery's recent adjustment of its petrol gantry price from ₦1,200 to ₦1,265 per litre. Higher retail prices could further raise transport costs and deepen pressure on households and businesses in the capital.
