Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol Gantry Price by ₦35 Per Litre
Dangote Refinery has reduced its petrol gantry price from ₦1,250 to ₦1,215 per litre, a ₦35 reduction that could lead to lower pump prices in parts of Nigeria. Station managers at NNPCL and MRS outlets said the adjustment may begin to reflect at filling stations during the week. The national president of IPMAN also said marketers would reduce prices once they receive supplies at the new rate. Petrol currently sells for about ₦1,370 to ₦1,429 per litre in Abuja and neighbouring communities. The final pump-price reduction will depend on supply deliveries and how quickly marketers adjust their rates.
