NAF Confirms Military Aircraft Crash in Ondo, 32 Reported on Board
The Nigerian Air Force has confirmed that one of its aircraft crashed in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State during a routine mission on Monday. The aircraft, with tail number NGR 931, was reportedly travelling from Benin to Lagos when it disappeared from radar at about 9:13am. Air traffic controllers were unable to establish radio contact with the crew. The Federal Government said 32 people were on board. Rescue operations are ongoing, while authorities have yet to confirm the number of casualties.
