Kebbi Police Arrest Man Over Alleged Murder of Brother and Sister-in-Law
The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested a suspect, Idrisu Musa, in connection with the alleged killing of his elder brother, Muhammad Haruna, and Haruna’s wife, Habiba Muhammad, in Asarara Village, Jega Local Government Area. Officers say the couple was attacked with a cutlass while sleeping, suffering fatal injuries. Investigators recovered incriminating evidence and noted that the suspect had threatened the pair on prior occasions. Neighbours describe the late couple as peaceful. Their six children are now orphaned. The state commissioner has ordered the case transferred to SCID for further investigation and vowed that anyone found culpable will face prosecution.
