Lokoja Supermarket Selling Expired And Fake Consumables

129

So I was travelling few days ago and stopped over at lokoja to get some food. The stop over point was a popular place where most travellers stop to stretch legs, ease themselves and also eat. I went in to this supermarket there to buy some snacks and water. I bought BOUNTY COCONUT CHOCOLATE, lo and behold, the manufactured and expiry date was cleaned with a hard paint and fake expiry date printed over it. To make matters worse, this item was even sold costlier there. So in other words, I paid more to buy and consume stuff that will kill me. So I passed there again today and checked, the chocolate was still there, so I decided to snap the supermarket to warn people of the deadly snack being sold there. In the photos attached, notice that the colour of the chocolate bar has changed from milkish white to light brown. This clearly showed that the snack is expired. Guys beware, the place where I bought this item has alot of it and is still selling them to the public.
