Recognising Divine Opportunities: Overcoming Fear, Delay and Missed Chances
God can open doors through people, ideas, skills, work, business, education and unexpected circumstances. But an open door is not enough. We need wisdom to recognise it, courage to act and diligence to make the most of it. Many opportunities are missed through fear, poor preparation, procrastination, pride or refusing to start small. While we pray for new doors, we may overlook the useful opportunity already within our reach. Time carries opportunities, so wisdom helps us know when to wait and when to act. Preparation should begin before the opportunity arrives. Build your skills, character, financial understanding and relationships. Examine every attractive offer carefully, seek wise counsel and do not sacrifice integrity simply because money is involved. Today, I will ask God for discernment to recognise the right opportunities, prepare for them and take the necessary step when the time is right. Small beginnings can become fruitful when they are met with vision, wisdom and diligence.
