NFF Directs NPFL, NNL, NWFL and NLO Chiefs to Hand Daily Operations to COOs
The Nigeria Football Federation has directed the leaders of the NPFL, NNL, NWFL and NLO to step away from day-to-day administration of their leagues. Under the temporary arrangement, Chief Operating Officers will oversee routine operations to keep domestic competitions running while wider football governance reforms are developed. The NFF said the transition is part of ongoing consultations with FIFA, CAF, the Federal Government and other stakeholders on a roadmap for reforms in Nigerian football.
