Senator Tony Nwoye joined the people of Umueri in Anambra State for their New Yam Festival on 10 October 2026. The senator attended alongside Igwe Ben Emeka, members of the royal cabinet and community residents. The celebration focused on unity, peace and the preservation of Igbo cultural heritage.
