The Nigerian forward opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a long-range strike before setting up Dia Saba for Amedspor’s second goal. Furkan Soyalp later made it 3-1 after Dusan Vlahovic had pulled one back for Beşiktaş. Amedspor finished with 10 men after Amadou Cisse was sent off, while Orkun Kökçü scored a late penalty for Beşiktaş. Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi was an unused substitute.
