Sowore Tells Ajibola Basiru He Helped Him Gain UNILAG Admission After UNILORIN Expulsion

Omoyele Sowore has responded to APC National Secretary Ajibola Basiru after Basiru described him as a skit maker and comedian during a television interview. Sowore said Basiru was expelled from the University of Ilorin in 1992 over student activism and later gained admission to study Law at the University of Lagos. He said he and other activists supported Basiru and Kunle Adegoke during that period. The AAC presidential candidate said the fight for justice, democracy and human dignity should not be dismissed as comedy. He also criticised Basiru's view that opponents of President Bola Tinubu should be ashamed after the 2023 election result.
