Four Bandit Leaders Killed in Rival Gang Clash at Rijana Dam

An operational report from troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA reveals that four notorious bandit kingpins, including one known as Laggu, were killed during a violent clash between rival criminal groups near Rijana Dam in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State on June 8. Several other bandits sustained injuries. The report also notes that troops neutralised about seven bandits during an encounter on June 6 but could not recover their bodies before they were evacuated by their comrades. Security agencies are monitoring the situation closely for potential reprisals. In a separate operation, soldiers recovered four motorcycles stolen from farmers in Angwan Garke village and handed them over to police in Galadimawa for return to their owners. No significant incidents were recorded during other routine security patrols in the area.
