Manchester City Agree €100m Deal for Lille Midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi
Manchester City are reportedly close to signing Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi in a deal worth up to €100 million. The agreement is said to include an initial €95 million fee and €5 million in add-ons. The 18-year-old Morocco international has reportedly agreed personal terms and is expected to complete a medical before joining City. Bouaddi made 30 Ligue 1 appearances for Lille in the 2025/26 season and featured prominently for Morocco at the 2026 World Cup. City are rebuilding their midfield following the departures of Rodri, Tijjani Reijnders and Bernardo Silva. Bouaddi would join Elliot Anderson as part of Enzo Maresca’s plans to add depth and long-term quality in the centre of the pitch. If the full package is activated, Bouaddi could become one of the most expensive teenage signings in Premier League history.
