MOSOP Hails Ribadu’s Ogoni Dialogue as Model for National Reconciliation
The Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People has praised the dialogue process led by National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu to address the long-running Ogoni oil conflict. MOSOP President Fegalo Nsuke said the process has opened the way for reconciliation and a better future for Ogoni communities. He described the approach as a model that could be applied to conflicts in other parts of Nigeria. Nsuke urged Ogoni people to support the ongoing dialogue and focus on development priorities, including jobs for young people, healthcare, education, security and welfare services. He said the group plans to honour Ribadu at the conclusion of the reconciliation process.
