Bayelsa Police Probe Man Found with Alleged Human Remains

The Bayelsa State Police Command is investigating reports that a 40-year-old man was found with alleged human parts in Sagbama Local Government Area. The suspect, identified as Peter Alale, was arrested after locals discovered a broken plate containing the remains near the council secretariat. During questioning, Alale claimed he had found the items at the Mile Three junction and was attempting to dispose of them in a nearby bush. The exhibits have been sent for medical examination to determine if they are indeed human parts. Commissioner of Police Iyamah Daniel has ordered a thorough and urgent inquiry into the incident. Residents are urged to remain calm and avoid sharing unverified or sensational information.
