German-Born Nigerian Teen Noah Ajayi Nears First Professional Deal at Manchester United

Manchester United academy winger Noah Ajayi is reportedly close to signing his first professional contract with the club. The 17-year-old, who was born in Hamburg to a Nigerian father and German mother, joined United’s academy after moving to England at age 10. He has represented Germany at youth level, including the Under-19 side. Ajayi can play on either wing and scored seven goals in 18 Premier League 2 appearances last season. Despite interest from clubs in England and elsewhere in Europe, he is expected to commit his long-term future to Manchester United.
