Oshiomhole Backs Edo State’s Proposal for Death Sentence by Firing Squad

The Senator for Edo North has endorsed Governor Okpebholo’s call for the death penalty for kidnappers and bandits. Speaking in Auchi, he argued that in a federation each state can set its own punishments for offences within its borders. He praised the current administration for restoring order and said those convicted should face execution by firing squad.
