Abiodun Calls for Government-Church Partnership to Build Responsible Youths

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has called for closer collaboration between government, churches and other faith-based institutions to raise disciplined and responsible young people. Speaking at the Golden Jubilee Thanksgiving Service of the Egba Anglican Diocese in Abeokuta, Abiodun said development should include character building, quality education, economic opportunities and stronger families. He said advances in technology and artificial intelligence must be matched by wisdom, conscience and moral responsibility. The governor pledged continued support for religious harmony and peaceful coexistence in Ogun State. During the event, he unveiled a commemorative plaque for the six-floor Cathedral Tower and received the Diocese’s Distinguished Benefactor Award. Anglican Primate Henry Ndukuba urged Christians to serve with courage and commitment, while the Alake of Egbaland commended the church’s contributions to education and social development.
