Kenyan Woman Denies Ex-Boyfriend Funded Her Move to the UK
A Kenyan woman has responded to claims by her estranged boyfriend that he financed her relocation to the United Kingdom and that she left him afterwards. She denied that he sold ancestral land or paid for her flight and studies. She said his parents gave her KSh 50,000 to help complete her visa fees, while she refunded money he gave her family during her farewell. She also alleged that their relationship had been troubled by disagreements, threats and actions that hurt her. According to her, they separated before she received her UK visa and she urged people not to judge the situation without hearing both sides.
