Nigeria’s Falconets delivered a record 10-1 win over New Caledonia at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup to qualify for the Round of 16 as runners-up in Group F. Ramotalahi Kareem and Winner Onajite David scored hat-tricks, while Rebecca Adegbemile struck twice. Janet Seimeyeha Akekoromowei and Tosin Rafiu also got on the scoresheet. Nigeria led 4-0 within 27 minutes and continued their dominance after the break. New Caledonia scored a late consolation through Joceline Kourevi, but the Falconets had already sealed their biggest-ever victory at the tournament.
