Sporting Lagos Midfielder Linus Zika Joins Sparta Prague
Czech First League side Sparta Prague have signed Nigerian midfielder Linus Zika from Sporting Lagos. The Sporting Lagos academy graduate featured at the 2025 Gothia Cup before joining the club’s first team for the 2025/26 Nigeria National League season. He made seven appearances as Sporting Lagos secured promotion to the NPFL. Zika will initially join Sparta Prague’s reserve team and work under manager Luboš Loučka. The move gives the young midfielder an opportunity to continue his development in European football.
