Morocco Thrash Kenya 4-0 in WAFCON 2026 Group A Opener

Hosts Morocco began their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a commanding 4-0 win over Kenya in their Group A opener in Rabat. S. Ouzraoui opened the scoring in the 19th minute before M. Atiq doubled the lead. I. Jraidi then struck twice, scoring before half-time and again two minutes after the restart. Morocco controlled the match with 65 per cent possession, 19 shots and 30 touches in Kenya’s penalty area. Kenya will aim to recover in their next group fixture, while the Atlas Lionesses take an early lead in Group A.
