Ekosimba Anthology Brings 63 Congolese Voices Together for Conflict-Affected Communities
Ekosimba: On Congo, Memory, War, and Renewal is a multilingual anthology featuring 63 Congolese writers, artists and cultural advocates from the DRC and its global diaspora. The collection explores memory, identity, culture, conflict and renewal through poetry, prose and personal reflections. Its title, drawn from Lingala, expresses endurance and hope. Published as a nonprofit project, all proceeds will support grassroots organisations working with communities affected by conflict in the DRC, especially women and children impacted by war-related sexual violence.
