Segun Showunmi Empowers FCT IDPs with Relief Donations, Demands Dignified Living Conditions
Leader of the Alternative Movement, Segun Showunmi, paid a surprise visit to an IDP camp in Wassa, FCT. He donated food items and medical supplies to support displaced families. Concerned by the poor state of the camp’s facilities, he urged FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to step in and ensure displaced Nigerians live in dignity. He stressed that emergency aid must be paired with long-term solutions in education, healthcare, and livelihood support. Camp residents thanked Showunmi for the visit and the much-needed supplies. They described the gesture as a beacon of hope amid their daily challenges.
