Stop Public Fund Theft and Watch Nigeria Grow

I keep thinking about this: if a UK employment secretary diverted job-seekers’ allowances into a personal account, would vulnerable people receive their benefits? Of course not. If money meant for roads or waste collection was repeatedly diverted, there would be poor roads, dirty communities and failed public services. The same principle applies in Nigeria. Our federal and state leaders must stop stealing public funds and put strong checks in place so every allocation can be traced. Peter Obi may appear credible to many people, but Nigeria needs accountable leadership and transparent institutions at every level.
