I am concerned that Nigeria’s population is growing faster than jobs, housing, healthcare and other public services. Many people are already struggling with hardship, and I worry that rapid population growth could make it harder for families and government to meet basic needs. I believe voluntary family planning, better education and improved access to reproductive healthcare can help families make informed choices. Reducing pressure on public services could also give the country a better chance to improve living standards, create jobs and tackle insecurity.
