Nigerian Referees to Officiate DR Congo vs Equatorial Guinea AFCON 2027 Qualifier
CAF has appointed Nigerian referee Joseph Odey Ogabor to lead the AFCON 2027 qualifying match between DR Congo and Equatorial Guinea. The Group E opener will be played at Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa on Thursday, with kick-off scheduled for 5pm local time. Tejiri Besmart Digbori and Emmanuel Omada will serve as assistant referees, while Grema Mohamed has been named fourth official. Ogabor is a regular in the Nigeria Premier Football League and has also officiated CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup matches.
