Ardova-Diadem Targets 100 CNG Refuelling Sites Across Nigeria Within 24 Months

The Ardova Plc–Diadem Energy consortium says it plans to establish 100 compressed natural gas refuelling sites across Nigeria within 24 months. The project is intended to ease CNG refuelling shortages and improve access for motorists, commercial fleets and industries. The expansion follows the consortium’s agreement to acquire Powergas, a major CNG producer and virtual pipeline distributor. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The partners say they will combine Powergas’ compression capacity, Diadem’s gas logistics network and Ardova’s retail outlets to expand domestic gas use. They also expect the project to support lower-emission transport, reduce gas flaring and cut energy and transportation costs over time.
