Flood Sweeps Away UNIZIK Primary School Pupil in Awka

Success Ezenwafor, a pupil of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Primary School in Awka, Anambra State, has died after floodwaters swept away a school shuttle bus. The bus, which was carrying schoolchildren, was overtaken by floodwater along the Awka–Nibo–Nise–Enugwu-Ukwu Ring Road during heavy rainfall on September 21. Success was reported missing after the incident. His body was recovered the following day during a search operation. Two other children from the same family who were in the vehicle were rescued.
