Dangote Refinery Opens ₦2.15 Trillion Share Offer at ₦525 Per Share
Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has opened a public offer of 4.1 billion new ordinary shares on the Nigerian Exchange at ₦525 per share. Retail and institutional investors can participate, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares costing ₦5,250. The offer opened on September 14, 2026, and is expected to close on October 13, subject to the prospectus terms. Aliko Dangote described the exercise as a “People’s IPO” aimed at widening public ownership in Dangote Group companies. The ₦2.15 trillion offer gives eligible investors a chance to own a stake in the Lekki-based refinery, a key project in Nigeria’s domestic fuel supply plans.
