This post argues that some Quranic narratives and practices have parallels in earlier Jewish rabbinic writings, Christian infancy texts, Gnostic ideas, Zoroastrian traditions and pre-Islamic Arabian customs. Examples cited include stories about Abraham and idols, Cain and Abel, Jesus speaking as an infant, the crucifixion, pilgrimage rites and the Black Stone. The post presents these similarities as evidence against divine revelation. These are major comparative-religion claims that remain disputed by Muslim scholars, historians and theologians. Readers should consult the cited primary texts and scholarly interpretations before drawing conclusions.
