Six FULokoja Students Arrested for Assault and Cyberstalking Over False Homosexuality Claim
Six students of the Federal University Lokoja were arrested by the Kogi State Police for alleged conspiracy, defamation, assault and cyberstalking. The complaint, filed on March 30 by a male student, alleged that his colleagues lured him to an apartment beside Living Faith Church in Felele, stripped him, beat him with belts and charging cords and recorded the attack. The suspects then circulated the video online. Police confirmed the suspects—Inajo Henry, Nzekwe Victor, Lucky Victor, Lucky Gambo, Paul David and a 17-year-old student—admitted their actions were planned and based on unverified assumptions about the victim’s behaviour. Investigations are complete and charges have been filed in a court of competent jurisdiction.
