Enyimba Can Still Challenge for Continental Football, Says Assistant Coach

Enyimba assistant coach Lawrence Ukaegbu says the club has overcome the internal crisis that affected performances earlier in the NPFL season. Ukaegbu said the dispute was a misunderstanding of roles and credited chairman Kanu Nwankwo with helping to restore calm within the team. He believes the players and technical crew can now focus on improving results. Enyimba are currently 18th in the league but Ukaegbu remains optimistic about their chances. He said the squad has the quality and experience to fight for a continental place, beginning with their trip to face Nasarawa United in Lafia.
