Rufai Oseni Questions Peter Obi’s Visibility and Policy Positioning Ahead of 2027
Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni has questioned Peter Obi’s political visibility and policy consistency as parties begin positioning for the 2027 general election. Speaking during a discussion on opposition readiness, Oseni raised concerns about reported disagreements between the Obidient Movement and the Nigeria Democratic Congress. He also questioned whether the party was meeting the expectations of Obi’s supporters. Oseni criticised what he described as Obi’s changing position on petrol subsidy and said the former Anambra State governor had not clearly presented his plans for 2027. A PDP chieftain, Don Ulasi, had earlier described Obi as a leading opposition figure capable of challenging President Bola Tinubu.
