Rivers State University Elevates Three Marine Engineers to Professorial Rank

Three members of the Nigerian Institution of Marine Engineers and Naval Architects have been elevated to the rank of professor in the Department of Marine and Offshore Engineering at Rivers State University, Port Harcourt. The new professors are Kombo Theophilus-Johnson, Daniel Tamunodukobipi and Ugochukwu Charles Orji. The institution praised their contributions to research, engineering education, mentorship and professional development. It said the promotions reflect the growing importance of academic research and skilled manpower in Nigeria’s marine, offshore engineering and maritime sectors.
