How to Attract Divine Help: Lessons from Scripture
Attracting God’s help begins when we cry out to Him in humility. In 2 Kings 6:1–7, the sons of the prophets lost an axe head in the Jordan and called on God through His servant. He intervened, showing that God responds when we earnestly seek Him. The Bible is filled with examples of this. David declared, “I cried unto the LORD… and He heard me.” Bartimaeus refused to be silenced and received his sight because of his persistent cries (Mark 10:46–52). If we want divine aid, we must set aside pride and approach Him with a sincere, focused heart. True devotion is fervent. When we praise or pray, nothing else should distract us. Remember that God still performs miracles today as He did in days of old. If you humbly call on Him, He will arise and help you.
