My Girlfriend Won’t Leave My Place: How Do I Set Boundaries Respectfully?

My girlfriend has been staying with me, but I never intended for my home to become her permanent residence. When her rent was due earlier this year, I helped her pay part of it instead of having her move in. Her room is still available, but she has continued staying with me. Each time I ask her to return to her place, she avoids the conversation. I do not want to force her out, insult her or make her feel rejected. I have explained that I am not ending the relationship and suggested that we can still spend a few days together each week while keeping separate homes. I need space and clarity to decide whether this relationship is truly leading to marriage. I do not want convenience or living arrangements to pressure me into a decision I am not ready to make. How can I set this boundary calmly and respectfully?
