Yira Sor Faces Six Weeks Out With Hamstring Injury
Nigerian winger Yira Sor is expected to be sidelined for about six weeks after suffering a hamstring injury during Amedspor’s 2-1 win over Trabzonspor. Sor scored Amedspor’s equaliser in first-half stoppage time but was forced off four minutes into the second half. Fellow Nigerian Gift Orban later scored the 90th-minute winner. The club said scans showed an 11-centimetre injury to Sor’s left hamstring. The 26-year-old, who joined Amedspor from Genk last month, has scored once in three league matches this season.
