INEC says 1,906,390 of Osun State’s 2,339,233 registered voters have collected their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the governorship election on Saturday, 15 August 2026. This represents 81.50% PVC collection across the state. The remaining 432,843 uncollected cards have been deposited with the Central Bank of Nigeria. INEC also said 6,101 voters who requested replacements for damaged, defaced or missing PVCs printed downloadable copies. The commission says personnel and sensitive election materials are being deployed across all 30 local government areas, and it has pledged to conduct a free, fair, transparent and inclusive poll.
