Gerrard Backs Barcola to Lift Liverpool as Transfer Talks Advance

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard believes Bradley Barcola has the quality to take the Reds to a higher level if his proposed move goes through. Speaking to TNT Sports, Gerrard described the French winger as an incredible talent with room to improve. He said Barcola’s quality and potential would make him a fantastic addition to Liverpool’s attack. Gerrard, however, urged Liverpool to strengthen their midfield too, particularly by signing a defensive midfielder before the transfer window closes. Barcola has recorded 39 goals and 37 assists in 152 appearances. He was left out of PSG’s opening league matches and is reportedly preparing for a medical ahead of a possible move.
