JAMB Introduces Prof. Segun Aina as Its Incoming Registrar

JAMB has introduced Prof. Segun Aina as its incoming Registrar following the end of Prof. Is-haq Oloyede’s 10-year tenure. According to the board’s profile, Aina began his professional career during his NYSC service at JAMB. He later co-founded an IT services and engineering project-management firm, while building experience in academia, technology and public-sector consulting. The 40-year-old Professor of Computer Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University has also served on the governing council of BOUESTI and held advisory roles in education. His appointment makes him JAMB’s youngest Registrar. What do you expect from a Registrar with experience in admissions systems, technology and academia?

A long connection to JAMB is interesting, but it should not automatically be treated as proof of how successful his tenure will be.
