St. Gregory’s Old Boys Honour Cardoso, Oniru, IGP Disu and Other Alumni
The St. Gregory’s College Old Boys Association honoured several distinguished alumni with Lifetime Achievement Awards at a ceremony in Lagos on September 26, 2026. Recipients included the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr Olayemi Cardoso; the Oniru of Iruland, Oba Abdulwasiu Lawal; and the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu. The association also recognised leaders from business, law, medicine, academia, public service and traditional institutions. Other awardees included Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour, Sir Steve Omojafor, Segun Agbaje, Ayodele Subair, Professor Wale Sulaiman and several other alumni. The event celebrated the contributions of former students across different sectors.
