Legacy University Gets Approval for Postgraduate, Medicine and Nursing Programmes
Legacy University, Okija, Anambra State, says it has received regulatory approval to begin postgraduate programmes leading to PGD, Master's and PhD degrees from the 2026/2027 academic session. The institution also announced approvals for MBBS, Nursing, Telecommunications Services, and Intelligence and Security Studies. Its management said it is preparing additional classrooms, hostels, clinical transport, equipment and academic staff to support the new programmes. The university said the expansion will allow eligible students to progress from undergraduate study to postgraduate degrees within the institution. Management also appealed for improved road access around Okija, saying poor infrastructure affects student recruitment and travel.
