Freddie Henry-Ajudua Named in Nigeria Stallions Squad for 2026 Rugby SVNS Qualifiers

Igbuzo-born rugby player Dr. Freddie Chukwuyem Henry-Ajudua has been selected for Nigeria’s Stallions squad for the 2026 World Rugby SVNS 3 Qualifiers in Kampala, Uganda, scheduled for September 26 and 27. The United States-based player is among 12 athletes picked by the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation. Nigeria will face Zimbabwe, Ghana and Morocco in Pool A, alongside other African teams competing for qualification. The call-up has been welcomed in Igbuzo and Delta State, where supporters say his progress is an inspiration to young athletes. The Stallions will be aiming for a strong showing as they seek to improve Nigeria’s standing in African rugby.
