I Was Allegedly Scammed by a Painter After Paying for a Job

I paid a painter for a job after he assured me that he would deliver the service. According to our chat, he promised to come to my estate that night, but he did not show up. He later said he would refund me, then stopped responding and blocked me. I am sharing this experience to warn others to be careful when paying service providers upfront. Please verify a vendor’s identity, reviews and previous jobs before making payment. This is my personal account of what happened, and I hope it helps others avoid a similar experience.
