Five Bible Verses for Healing and Comfort

These Bible passages offer words of hope and comfort for times of illness and prayer. Psalm 103:2–3 speaks of God forgiving sins and healing diseases. Jeremiah 17:14 is a prayer asking the Lord for healing and salvation. Isaiah 53:5 says, “By His wounds you have been healed.” James 5:14–15 encourages the sick to call for the church elders to pray over them and anoint them with oil.
