250 Palestinian Couples Celebrate Long-Delayed Weddings in Gaza

The ceremony was held under the UAE’s Operation Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian mission. Brides in wedding gowns and grooms wearing dark suits and traditional keffiyeh scarves celebrated together at a beachfront event. For many, it was a rare chance to mark a joyful milestone after months of conflict and uncertainty. The UAE says its mission has delivered more than 136,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza since 2023. The wedding offered couples a moment of celebration amid continuing hardship.
