Oyo Kidnap Rescue: Eight Arrested, Others Neutralised – Presidency

The Presidency has shared fresh details on the rescue of pupils and teachers abducted in Oriire LGA, Oyo State. The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy said eight of the kidnappers are now in DSS custody. Others were neutralised during the operation. No concessions were made to secure the victims’ release. The gang’s kingpin remains detained and will face prosecution for his role in the attacks. Security agencies will provide a full account soon.
