Barau FC Stay Unbeaten as Ranchers Bees and Katsina United Claim NPFL Wins

Barau FC extended their unbeaten start to the NPFL season with a goalless draw against Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos. Barau remain second with eight points from four matches, while Ikorodu City are fifth on five points with a game in hand. Katsina United earned their first win of the campaign, beating Niger Tornadoes 1-0 at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium. Abdulrahman Garba scored the only goal in the 21st minute, lifting Katsina United to 11th on the table. In Kano, Ranchers Bees came from behind to defeat Bendel Insurance 2-1. Lekan Gabriel equalised in the 66th minute after Chiedozie Jude Okorie had put the hosts ahead, but Mohammed Rabiu Zulkifilu struck the winner 11 minutes from time for his fifth league goal of the season.
