Stop Postponing Your Purpose: Start With What You Have Today
I have learned that procrastination rarely begins with a clear refusal. It often sounds like “next week,” “when I have more money,” or “when the timing is perfect.” I have caught myself delaying ideas, projects and responsibilities while waiting for a tomorrow that keeps moving further away. Waiting on God is not the same as refusing to take a responsible step. There are times to wait, but there are also times to act on what is already clear. A business idea cannot create jobs from a notebook, and a book cannot help anyone until its first page is written. I now ask myself, “What can I execute today?” Start small: make the call, write the proposal, submit the application, learn the skill or begin the conversation. Tomorrow is useful for planning, but progress begins with the step I take today.
